Our Little Pumpkins

We decided that today would be our pumpkin carving day as the rest of the week gets a little crazy with soccer, family pictures :0, halloween parties and Halloween this Saturday! Landon decided he wanted a Happy Pumpkin and Trent wanted a ghost on his pumpkin, thank goodness for the pumpkin carving kits :) Trent and Landon were very anxious to put their "strobe" lights in their pumpkins so that they could see them glow. Lots of pumpkin seeds later, here they are:

I had not gotten pictures of the boys in the Pumpkin Patch yet so I decided that after Carter's Birthday Party we would head over to the Holy Cross Church Pumpkin Patch. Landon loved sitting on all the pumpkins so I had tons of pictures of him. I thought these turned out cute!

Happy Birthday Carter!

I can't believe that our nephew Carter is already 3! He is such a big boy now and Trent and Landon love to play with their cousin. Carter had his birthday party on Sunday and it included a special guest, a monkey named Abby. She was so cute and sat with the kids, played games and we watched her drink a Starbucks coffee!

Greatwood MOMS Club Fall Festival

What a great day it was to be outside and the MOMS Club Fall Festival was so much fun! The boys had fun dressing up in their Halloween costumes, decorating pumpkins, playing with friends, riding in a wagon for the costume parade, playing bean bag toss, and eating yummy treats. It was so nice this year and I didn't worry about them being hot in their Halloween costumes for once :) It was nice and cool and so pretty at the Enchanted Gardens.

SOCCER Fall 2009

Trent has been playing soccer since September 2008 and he has become quite a little soccer player! Well we started out last fall and he has progressed a lot in the past year! He loves scoring GOALS and is starting to understand the game a lot more. Here are a few pictures from his games...

1st Day of Preschool September 2009

Trent and Landon attend preschool at St. Laurence Children's Program on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9-3 and look forward to seeing their teachers and friends. Mommy enjoys her "Mommy's Day Out" too :) Trent loves Ms. Stacey and Ms. Karen and Landon enjoys Ms. Sarah and Ms. Anne as well. Here is a picture from their first day in September.

Happy Birthday Trent!

On September 20, our Trent turned 4! We had a "Dinosaur Swim Party" this year, which was his idea. He wanted a swim party with a Dinosaur theme, so we had an evening swim party at the Greatwood Splash Pool with tons of blow up dinosaurs and LOTS of family and friends. He wanted a volcano cake and so mommy decided that we would use sparkler candles at the top of the volcano to make the volcano look like it was erupting and although I told him he would not be able to blow out these sparkler candles, he thought he would give it a try. Don't worry, he still was able to blow out his candles with the extra "real" candles that I had and he made his wish :) The kids had a great time sliding in the water and jumping off the diving board, it was probably one of the last days we were able to swim this summer... And Landon really enjoyed his brother's birthday cupcakes :)

Our Boys: Trent (4) and Landon (2 1/2)

WOW How time has flown! My big boy is now 4! He is a very energetic and active 4 year old. Oh how we love to see his smile, he has the cutest dimples like his daddy, big brown eyes and has blonde hair like his mommy. “T” loves to be outdoors, swimming, fishing, riding his gator, bow hunting with daddy, riding his bike. He loves to watch movies with mommy and play games. His best friend is his brother, Landon, he can’t stand being without him and lately has been teaching how to pretend play.


Landon is our 2 ½ year old sweetheart who loves giving kisses and hugs. He loves to cuddle with his mommy or daddy and wants to do everything big brother Trent does. What a handsome little boy, he has gorgeous auburn hair like his Daddy, beautiful curls and cheeks (like his mommy when she was a little girl) that make you want to squeeze him. He loves to play trains, watch trains, paint, color, and to play outside. Oh and he could SWING ALL day! We love our little “LanLan” as Trent says.

Hi Family and Friends! I have finally started a blog :) I decided to try something new after having our Baby Jelly Beans website since Trent was born in September 2005! Trent is now 4 and Landon is 2 1/2 years old. I hope to use this site to share the joys or raising our two little boys, and to be able to create a memory book of our blog each year.
