Saturday morning was beautiful and sunny and we did not expect what came floating out of the sky around 2 pm. What a nice surprise...and end to this winter season? I'm actually ready for some warmer weather, bring it on SPRING!!

SNOW DAY
Well we finally had enough snow on the ground this late winter to do some sledging. There is a hill right across the street from our house that is perfect for the kids. It wasn't too much snow but enough! T & L have been waiting for this all winter long. They just didn't understand why it hadn't snowed much this year compared to last year. Last winter (November, 2010) it snowed so much for a month that went sledging quite a bit!

Mardi Gras Party
The AWA hosted their annual Mardi Gras party here in Aberdeen and we had a blast! Hurricane drinks were served, dinner included jambalaya, red beans and rice and for dessert we had King Cake. My name was drawn and I was the lucky Queen of the Mardi Gras party. We led the Mardi Gras mambo parade around the room and then danced the night away. Fun times!!
