Cheers to the SUN this weekend! Yes, finally after over 2 weeks straight of rain and cold we had a couple full days of sunshine. This certainly brightened our weekend and we decided to visit some places we have been wanting to see. On Saturday we visited Craigievar Castle (about 30 minutes outside of Aberdeen) and went on a hike up to the top of Scolty Hill (in Banchory about 20 minutes from our house.) After that we visited a Tannery nearby where we bought some Sheepskin rugs from Scotland. We finished our day at Kippie Lodge hitting some golf balls and then TGIFridays for dinner.
On Sunday we went to Church and then had bubbly and brunch out at Meldrum House Hotel. The grounds at the hotel and golf course were beautiful and the Hotel was magestic itself. We are spending the rest of our beautiful Sunday outdoors playing some baseball and football!!
