We have been taking Swim Lessons at Swim Houston since Trent was 2 1/2 years old. Landon started at 2 1/2 years old as well and both boys are doing so well! Today was a special day. Trent at 4 1/2 years has advanced from a Goldfish level, to Dolphin, and to Swordfish level. He can swim the length of the pool doing freestyle and backstroke. Landon has been a Goldfish and was ready to advance to the next level at 3 1/2 years. He was promoted to a Dolphin today. Both boys had not taken the float test so Trent decided to do this with Landon since he was ready. The float test is a test where both boys are thrown in the water fully clothed (long sleeve shirt, blue jeans, and tennis shoes) and they either have to float on their backs to the side or swim to the side. Well today was the day! Both of my big boys swam to the side of the pool by themselves. We are so proud of both of them. What a great way to end our year at Houston Swim club, both of my boys can swim!
