Isle of Skye
After the Fort William train ride, we drove 2 hours to Broadford which is on the Isle of Skye. It was a beautiful drive, the west coast to the Isle of Skye has amazing scenery, from the highlands to the lochs. We crossed the Isle of Skye bridge at Kyle of Lochalsh and stayed at the Broadford Hotel. We drove around the next morning and on the way back we stopped at the Eilean Donan Castle. It was a beautiful castle near the town of Dornie and is at the meeting point of three sea lochs on the west coast of Scotland. It took about 5 hours to drive back to Aberdeen. We saw some beautiful places!!
