Tolquhon Castle
On a Sunday afternoon, we visited Tolquhon Castle which is a castle in Aberdeenshire. It is known for being one of the most picturesque castles in the Grampian countryside. Serving as a noble residence for some 300 years, the oldest part is the stump of an early 15th-century tower house. We all loved this castle. There were plenty of places for the kids to run around and explore the castle. They were crawling, climbing and sitting on ledges and cut-outs in the stone. Trent and Landon also enjoyed running out in the garden on this beautiful sunny day. We all laid in the soft, bright green grass and enjoyed some gorgeous weather!!
