On Saturday, August 6 we arrived back to Barcelona and it was time to leave the cruise :( We had a great time and were sad to leave. Disney does an awesome job with their cruises. Everything was perfect and on time throughout the whole cruise from the full buffet breakfasts to excellent dinners, adult bars, and the excursions, kids clubs, shows, theatres, character visits, swimming pools and slides, room service, luggage service, housekeeping service in both the mornings and turn downs before night along with the cute little animals made out of towels and chocolates for the rooms each night. It was a vacation we will never forget!!!
After we arrived at the port, we took a city tour of Barcelona and went inside the Sagrata Familia. It is a Catholic Church in the city with amazing architecture inside and out. Unbelievable!! In 1882 it had commenced construction but another architect took over and transformed it with amazing structural columns and arches. It has been under transformation since then and is still under construction today. The anticipated completion date is 2026. We also visited the site of the 1992 Olympics.
